Is it safe to use my garage door before the repair visit?
No, not if a spring has snapped or the door has come off its track, because the door can fall or bind without warning. Leave it closed, do not pull the red release cord, and keep kids and pets away from it. My car is trapped behind a broken door. What do I do?
Call us and say the car is trapped, because that moves you up the day's route. Do not try to lift the door by hand if a spring is broken, since a two-car door can weigh a few hundred pounds. One of our two vans carries common spring sizes, so the fix usually happens in that first visit.
The door came off its track. Can I push it back on?

What does the no call-out fee actually mean?

Which towns fall inside the no call-out fee zone?
Every address in Boulder County qualifies, including Louisville, Lafayette, Boulder itself, and unincorporated county land. Louisville and Lafayette each have their own page with local booking detail. If you are unsure your address counts, call and we will tell you straight.
How fast can a van reach me?
Usually the same day or the next, because two vans work Boulder County every day and we route them by the morning's calls. When you book, we look at where each van is headed and give you a window that fits the real route. Trapped cars and doors stuck open get priority.

Should I repair my garage door or replace it?
Repair it if the damage is one part, like a snapped spring, a worn opener, or a bent section of track. Replace it when panels are cracked in several places or the door has come off track repeatedly, because repairs then just chase the next failure. My opener hums but the door does not move. Is the opener dead?
Not necessarily, because a humming opener often means the door itself is too heavy to lift, which points at a broken spring rather than the motor. Do you fix all opener brands?
We work on the common residential openers found across Boulder County homes, and we tell you on the phone if yours is one we would rather replace than repair. Bring the brand and model number to the call if you can read it off the motor housing. When repair does not make sense, we say so before the visit.
